An Inspiring Legacy Specialist Helps Families Preserve Love & Life Stories
An inspiring Legacy Specialist and End-of-Life Doula, who will describe how she helps individuals and families preserve their history, their love and life stories for future generations.
SHOW DESCRIPTION:
As we begin the celebration of Older Americans Month, which recognizes the contributions of older adults to society, it’s also a great opportunity for each of us to think about our own personal legacy—beyond the physical assets we pass on to our heirs. In today’s episode, Susan Capurso, a renowned Legacy Specialist and consultant, talks about how she helps individuals and families preserve their life stories, their wisdom and memories for future generations. Susan will illustrate how families can create an array of legacy projects, and why it’s important to start thinking about one’s legacy early, rather than waiting for “a rainy day.” As an end-of-life doula and funeral celebrant, she’ll also describe her unique, holistic approach to legacy preservation and end-of-life care. A three-time author, podcaster and teacher, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her field of end-of-life caregiving—with on care, because over the years, that’s not only been her expertise, but her passion, truly caring for people.
